Ohio High School Sevens a Success
St. Ignatius defeated Westerville 21-10 to win the Ohio State HS 7s Championships Sunday, coming back from a 10-0 deficit to take the title.
Led by Player of the Year Michael Matthews, Jr., St. Ignatius didn’t even give up a point until the semifinals. This caps a very successful Ohio state HS season, and one of the highlights is that the game has received more TV coverage, Time Warner will be showing a two-hour broadcast of the tournament July 4 at 8am and July 7 at 3pm local time on channel 311 or on 1311 HD.
In addition, The state 15s championship between Moeller and St Edwards at 1:30pm on July 4 and at 8pm on July 6 and July 7 as well – also on channel 311.
