The 2nd Annual Ohio vs. Indiana High School Rugby Challenge is in the books and it was a very successful second edition of an event that has huge potential. With eight of the top high school teams, not only in the region, but in the country… this event could very well turn into something that fans and college coaches keep a close eye on in the future.

Participating teams included St. Edward, Westerville, Archbishop Moeller, and St. Ignatius from Ohio and Brownsburg, Cathedral, Penn, and Notre Dame LaSalette from Indiana.

On the A-side end of the Challenge, it was Indiana taking home bragging rights as the Hoosier squads went 7-1 on the day. Despite the record clearly in their favor, scores were very close throughout the day. The lone victory by a Ohio A-side team was claimed by St. Ignatius.

The Ohio sides made up for it in the B-side Challenge matches as the Ohioans went 6-2.

Overall, Indiana claimed the Challenge with a record of 9-7.
