Introduction to officiating in a safe, competent and enjoyable way! This course is for people who wish to become Match Officials in local age-grade competitions and senior Rugby.
On successful completion of the course a match official will be able to demonstrate basic officiating skills based on appropriate theoretical knowledge and evidence of preparation and planning, and be able to officiate aspects of the game in a modified context.
Pre-Course Work:
The course requires you complete 4 online modules provided by World Rugby before attending the course. Please bring a print out of your Certificate of Completion for each course. If this pre-work is not completed, you may be turned away from the course. You will not be able to obtain L1 Referee qualification without completing these modules.
